Why are you running?

I am concerned that the finances of the Brighton Area Schools are being mismanaged. My biggest goal is to reduce and prevent debt within the Brighton school system, most notably, by agreeing to spending that is more fiscally conservative. By assisting the Brighton Area Schools in becoming more cost-conscious, I hope to prevent increases in local taxes and spend our current tax dollars more responsibly. My biggest goal is to make sure that spending does not exceed the incoming finances. I am familiar with what is necessary for students to be competitive at the next educational level. With this in mind, I wish to place Brighton students into a position to excel at the next stage of their lives.
