U.S. 23 Road Work Closes Single Lanes Friday, Saturday South of I-96
Traffic affected in the Brighton and Hartland areas.
There will be a single lane closure on northbound U.S. 23 at Grand River Avenue, just south of the I-96 interchange starting Friday night at 10 p.m., according to an email sent by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
The closure is needed for bridge work at Grand River Avenue over U.S. 23.
At about 4 a.m. on Saturday, there will also be a single lane closure on northbound U.S. 23 starting just south of Lee Road for work on the median shoulder. The closure near Lee Road will tie into the single lane closure at Grand River Avenue.
All lanes are expected to reopen by noon on Sunday.
