Artist's Reception Set for Visual Poetry Show

An art exhibit, "Harmonic Rapport: A Celebration of Visual Poetry" by local artist Lilith Dorr, will open this weekend at Community Unitarian Universalists in Brighton (CUUB).

Held in the organization's Frank Lloyd Wright inspired building, the show will debut with an Artist's Reception Saturday, April 13, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The public is invited to enjoy light refreshments, musical entertainment, beautiful artistry and poetry, and an informal lecture by the artist at 8 p.m.

This fundraising event will benefit LACASA. Twenty five percent of the show's proceeds will be donated to this Livington County nonprofit that provides hope and help for victims of child abuse and interpersonal violence.
