Calling all golfers! Play in LACASA's Drive Out Child Abuse Golf Scramble set for Friday, June 14, at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Pinckney. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m.; shotgun start is at 1 p.m.
All proceeds benefit abused and neglected children from Livingston County. Your team will play for a child and be named for that child.
The day includes 18 holes of golf with cart, goody bag, boxed lunch, beverage coupons, and a Midwest BBQ Awards Dinner.
Competitions include a hole-in-one competition for a Rolex watch worth thousands of dollars sponsored by HOUR Media's new local journal, dbusiness.
Take the Dixon Challenge and see how far you can drive the world's first high-performance, recyclable golf ball. Great prizes!
A silent auction will run throughout the day with offerings from pro shops, golf courses and retail stores. Bid on vacation getaways and unique boutique items.
Guests also may sign up for "dinner only" tickets to cheer on award winners.
