Book Discussion Group

Brighton District Library Book Discussion Group meets at 7:00 p.m. the third Monday of each month between September and May. The group is led by a library staff member and welcomes everyone.

The public is invited to the next book discussion discussion of Three Day Road by Joseph Boyden Monday, May 16 at 7 p.m.

This story highlights Niska, an Oji-Cree medicine woman who has left her home to retrieve Xavier Bird, her only relative, who has returned from the trenches of Europe. Gravely wounded and addicted to morphine, Xavier tells how he and his best friend prowled the battlefields as snipers and how their deadly craft led them to different fates.
