When Are School Holiday Vacations, Anyway?

Plan your Thanksgiving, Christmas and the rest of the holiday season with a quick look at when Brighton students will be in class or on vacation.

The beginning of November means the first semester or quarter is winding down for Brighton students, meaning holiday breaks are ahead.

Whether you're staying home, going to grandma's house or planning a trip to somewhere warm this holiday season, here's a quick reminder of when the kids will be in class and when their holiday vacations begin:

Brighton Area Schools Calendar

November

  • Nov. 5: No School - Records Day
  • Nov. 6: No School - Election Day
  • Nov. 15: Conferences
  • Nov. 21-23: Thanksgiving break; no school
  • Nov. 26: No school for high school students

December

  • Dec. 24-Jan. 2: Winter break; no school
  • Jan 3-4: No School - Staff Professional Development Days
