Brighton Varsity Cheer Places Fourth in KLAA Conference Championships

Six Brighton cheerleaders were also chosen for the KLAA All Area Lakes Conference Team.

Brighton Varsity Competition Cheerleading Squad placed fourth in the KLAA Conference Championship held in Novi on Saturday. 

Hartland placed first with an overall score of 789.4984. Second and third place went to Stevenson with 772.408 points and Churchill with 766.086 points. The Bulldogs had a total score of 739.89.

Brighton is ranked second in the KLAA Lakes Conference, after Hartland.

Six Brighton Varsity Cheerleaders were also selected to the KLAA All Area Lakes Conference team, an honor that recognizes the best athletes on the team.

Brighton High School Seniors Lauren Steele, Marisa Bertoia, Kaitlin Lovil and Alexandra Huss as well as Junior Cassidy Snow and Sophomore Ella Sosenko were selected by head coach Angela Seremijian.
