New Year's Eve Party Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are four tips to help fuel your week in Brighton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Brighton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. For your information

  • Howell Eagles New Year's Eve Party
Howell Eagles New Year's Eve Party is open to the public with live music from the Road House Dawgs and a pot luck dinner. The club will provide party favors, snacks, and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets in advance are $35 per couple and $20 per person. Tickets at the door are $45 per couple and $25 per person.

2. At the library
Stop by for our monthly open study hall to work on homework or just hang out with friends. Laptops will be available, as well as video games, snacks, and drinks from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

3. Save the date
Starting at 10 a.m., Hatha yoga class for EVERY B-O-D-Y. Bring a mat (also, rent/purchase them from us=rental fees benefit LACASA). Prepare to stretch, strengthen, tighten, tone, relax and enjoy this 75 minute class for the HEALTH of it. $15 walk in fee. 

4. For the kids
The Legacy Center will host the first ever Reindeer Games 4v4 Youth  Coed Soccer tournament on Jan. 2. Teams must be made up of three boys and three girls. Each team is guaranteed three games.
