It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Brighton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. In the schools

Brighton area third graders in both public and private school received personal dictionaries from the Kiwanis Club of Brighton. Over 500 dictionaries were presented at ten schools within an hour sweep of the Brighton area. Marking their tenth year, Brighton Kiwanis has donated over 7,000 dictionaries to local third graders. Read more the story here or for more information regarding the Dictionary Project or Brighton Kiwanis see their web page at www.brightonkiwanis.com or call their hot line at 810.227.0393.
