Brighton Kiwanis Gazebo Concerts Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Brighton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Brighton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Save the date

Starting July 7, the Kiwanis Club will host summer concerts every Sunday starting at 7 p.m. -- rain or shine. Free admission.

2. For you information
Join Bloom Baby & Kids and learn how simple natural cooking for baby can be! We will teach you all the basics of creating healthy, homemade baby food. How to select starting ingredients, how to steam, puree, and store baby food.

3. In case you missed it
The 7th Annual Hungry Duck Run will take place on July 4 in downtown Brighton. The course is mostly paved, according to the race's website, with a "few modest hills to add a little challenge."

4. For the kids
Cornerstone EPC invites you to join us this summer for some fun kid's programs.

5. Local voice of the week
Weddings have moved away from the traditional large events to a more simple and meaningful day. (Read more here.)
