Dash of the Dead 5K and More this Weekend

1. Dash of the Dead 5k

• When: Saturday, Oct. 5 
• Where: Brighton Recreation Area
• What: Come out dressed in your scariest zombie attire or your human attire and run for you lives in this is Dash of the Dead 5k fun run/walk. Celebrate your survival or your Zombie transformation at the Dance of the Dead After Party. Visit www.selcra.com to register.

• When: Friday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m.
• Where: Brighton High School Field House
• What: Habitat for Humanity is having a Harlem-style comedy basketball game featuring high flying slam dunks, games with the kids and hilarious comedy. Tickets are available at the Habitat ReStore, Howell Chamber of Commerce and Howell LOC Federal Credit Union. All proceeds benefit Livingston County Habitat for Humanity.

• When: Saturday, Oct. 5
• Where: Holy Spirit Catholic Church 
• What: The Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be visiting Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church Saturday, October 5 from before the 9 am Morning Mass until after the 4 pm Evening Mass. The Church will be open during all hours in between so that you may stop in at any time for a moment of prayer.
