Breast Cancer Fundraiser Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are five things to help fuel your week in Brighton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Brighton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. For a good cause

On Saturday, October 26 at 2:30 pm at the Kensington Valley Ice House in Brighton, the Rebels will be playing the Macomb Mavericks in a breast cancer fundraiser game. 

2. Save the date
Join Bloom Baby & Kids for an exclusive, after-hours shopping and educational experience as you prepare to welcome a new little one into the world. Event takes place on Tuesday starting at 7 p.m.

3. At the library
Tues. from 6 pm - 7:30 pm, bring your dinner and enjoy fun activities and lively discussion of a different book each month. For girls ages 10-12. Adult participation required. 

4. Holiday help
Halloween is coming up quick. If your kids don't have a costume, here are some ideas for things you can make at the last minute.
